The Sky Fortress is an airborne aircraft carrier capable of launching fighters and interceptors; during the battle with Scarface Squadron, it would constantly deploy F-22s to combat the threat. Whenever one was shot down, it would almost immediately deploy another in its place. In appearance, it bears a resemblance to the XB-0 Hresvelgr from Belka; however its airframe is thinner than the Hresvelgr's. Said aircraft are presumably stored within the ship, and are loaded into a catapult at its front. It is propelled by four massive engines located on its wings. The ship is armed with several air-to-air missile launchers and anti-air guns, which are placed on its wingtips and the plane's central area. The weapons, once destroyed, would seemingly respawn.

SP Lore

While the Gleipnir fleet proved to be a formidable weapon, they are somewhat vulnerable to fighter aircraft, having very poor maneuverability. So the Sky Fortress Airborne Aircraft Carrier was conceived as a solution to the problem. While not having has many aircraft as a conventional aircraft carrier, Sky Fortress can keep up with Gleipnirs, and by possessing aircraft, they can better intercept attacking aircraft, and even be used to rapidly move aircraft to different bases.

Controls

• Uses standard flight controls.
• Deactivate AG8 to enable normal flight mode.

Notes:

• I gave the Sky Fortress gyro controls since it's lumbering flight characteristics don't mix well with the usual kind-erratic maneuvering of SP A.I.

• It was originally planned to have some PEA aircraft to launch off of the Sky Fortress, but it proved to not mix well at all with the method of building giant things on mobile, so I gave it 72 missiles in place of the aircraft (in fact I gave it more then intended by accident).
