MSD-skeleton
Yep, it is a very familiar shape if you are any sort of Star Wars fan.
It is not one of those, even if it does look like one.
This is something that I was working on, but kind of lost interest in actually doing anything with, to the point when I loaded it up again I had to find out just how it worked all over again.
This is not a small scale version of a ship, this is the 'full size' version of it.
Controls for flying are;
AG1 activates lift engines.
AG2 start the thrust motors.
Actual flight controls as per normal.
Getting it to fly is a bit tricky.
AG1 then full power.
Once the nose starts pointing up, hit AG2 for thrust which comes in pretty fast.
AG1 to kill lift motors.
Turrets controlled by VTOL.
AG7 moves the 'attack panels' into firing position.
4 Cleavers and 6 'russian' Interceptors ( I can't remember who made/edited them! ) are mounted on the panels.
AG3 for the Cleavers, AG4 for the RIs.
The RIs will be added to the number of available Interceptors (60!!)
I have not fired any of the weapons on the panels, but they should not make the ship blow up, unless the panels are not lowered into firing position that is.
The panels are mostly there for ground attack weapons, but I added the 'Russian Interceptors' as a gift, because they are just a nice thing to have.
Once I find out who actually did the XML for the RIs, I will credit them here. Promise!
CREDIT EDIT AS PROMISED!
@greasytortle for the excellent .
@Minecraftpower who apparently made the missiles work properly.
