Tank Style Propulsion Experiment

Just a test to see if, with the new features, tank style propulsion had become feasible where power is cut from one set of treads to allow for turns. This was made possible through AG 1 & AG 2 activating and deactivating one of the 2 300 HP engines. IF all wheels were powered and with a lot of practice it -might- be possible. From Yeager to the bridge it proved a challenge to control even at less than 10% power. I may simply have given it too much horsepower. Thoughts? Input?

@DragonAerotech hey, give my PZ-lll a try, it does pretty well for just having wheels with no suspension
@TheOwlAce Yep, it was just an experiment though as stated. I had hoped for better results but ah well. I wonder if I should point out that the US experimented with tank-style tread landing gear on oversized aircraft in the mid/late 30s and if they'd add that sometime down the line?? XD I think I understand what you're saying about this design though. Maybe with some fiddling with which wheels drive and which can reverse through AGs it'd work. At the moment though it just feels too cumbersome to continue to pursue in earnest.
I would have the first two sets of wheels as the last two be able to turn, the last two in reverse though. Its simpler and easier after i tried the same thing you had here on the Pz-III-B but it didnt work well.
@DragonAerotech thanks for the tip, just posed an updated version of the Explorer
@DragonAerotech ok
@TheOwlAce Since you're using the beta, check the gizmo section, when you set the speed to 0 they become these wicked small hinges! :D
Where did you get those hinges??
