Liberator Class Cruiser
The Liberator Class Cruiser is a heavy warship designed to perform multiple combat roles with ease. Being over 600ft long, this is one of the largest navy vessels, second only to the Aircraft Carrier. It has the weaponry to perform multiple combat roles and serves the purpose of most other warships in lower categories. It has a massive stock of Anti-Ship Missiles in varying levels of explosive power, and an admirable amount (Total of 76) of Anti-Air Missiles. Its large naval cannons also gives it an extra battery of guns if it comes to close combat. It has a few light AA guns if neccessary for defence against air strikes.
Its role in the war efforts
The Liberator Class Cruiser is a game changer in the war. Its massive size, high firepower, and versatility makes it a formidable opponent in any navy. The MGLA Factories have been working overtime and have just launched 30 of these vessels, fully equipped and ready for action.

Eh, writing sensible explanations for cool stuff without being entirely dependent on suspension of disbelief is HARD.
I'm actually kinda surprised that I managed to find something vaguely believable to explain the Eel War.
@Graingy I didn't mean it like 'worked up'. Wrong wording I guess. Also, darn it you got me on that last point grrr
I’m not getting “worked up” though I am surprised that made it through. Personally it’d bug me too much, but what do I know?
I’m not losing millions in equipment over a single machine gun.
@Graingy Well sure it has some physics issues, but honestly it isn't the wackiest thing to get worked up about on the SP website. See some 'plen's and 'world's heaviest block' and infinite countermeasure, not to mention the overload of flying tanks and submarines and cars and whatnot. And dont even get me started on all the alien technology, memes and egg planes. And heaven forbid you look under the 'Rick' tag for all the nonsense and absurd builds there. So guns that cant turn is the very least of SP's problems.
I don't those turrets are really a "ship" issue, bud.
More like a general "the basic laws of volume" issue.
@Graingy About the guns, well its my first ship ever so there are some issues. And about its size, well I didn't say its the largest ever. The Cruiser class in general is the second largest of modern warships, below aircraft carriers.
Also this ship is smaller than the SS Great Eastern just FYI
taking Ls from the 1850s
Question: Looking at the schematics, how do those two bow triple gun turrets turn without bumping into each other. They are extremely close together.
Damn. Yet another person has surpassed my measly shipbuilding abilities.
Visually, at least. I can't test it's performance.
That cost looks... much. And busy, but still.
God now i rant about Naval stuff lmao
one more thing, Light guns are more prevalent in modern age since they can be a multipurpose weapon(and does not require much space relative to say a WW2 light cruiser gun) irl, some of them can shoot down missiles, although like CIWS, its a last stand measure, typically, you use missiles for shooting down flying stuff anyway, but CIWS is always nice to have
@windshifter1 that's not even my biggest ship lol... JUST YOU SEEE!! YOU WILL SEE WHY WE RULE THE SEAS!! XD
its weird cause how do i explain it... normally, or rather, in general, the way you would set up an armament for a modern ship is(from the front), Gun, Anti-Air/Anti-Ship VLS(Vertical Launch System) Launcher, and the rest back is generally dictates on what space you have left, for example, let's take the Ticonderoga-class Cruiser, you can see it goes Gun-VLS-CIWS-Torpedo-Helicopter Hangar + Deck-Gun-Missile Canister, Hangar is very important since it is where the Helicopter would be stored when not in use to protect it from the weather or at the worse case, going overboard; another example is the ol' Kirov-class Battlecruisers, which has Gun(anti-sub rocket)-VLS-CIWS-Torpedo-Gun-Helicopter Deck + Hangar(which goes below the deck), but if you're lazy, TL;DR, typically it goes Gun-VLS-CIWS
@windshifter1 1 turret on the front with 2 wing turrets behind it, which is very strange for a modern warship
@Noname918181 By the way, what occured to you as strange about the turret layout?
@Noname918181 Thanks for the feedback!
@MonarchiiwithastolenMG Yup your midget 521ft Helicopter helicopter destroyer destroyer helicopter helicopter destroyer destroyer (Yes I saw your helicopter destroyer paradox in the comments lol) will run away if he see THIS
@windshifter1 no need to say sorry, these are just suggestions, and like you said, there is always a next time
@MonarchiiwithastolenMG @Noname918181 Sorry this is my first ship ever. Ill keep that in mind for next time.
Long live french BB/BCs
600ft is a decent sized warship alright
@windshifter1 this is what Noname means, Barbette is basically a tube that covers this mechanism inside
@windshifter1
Good.
Looks very good, weird bow, but still good
Although I would have liked to see some windows on the bridge
Also that is the strangest turret layout I've seen yet and I love that
One more thing: were are the barbettes? The side turrets are fine, tho the big one on the front should have one visible
@TheUltimatePlaneLover We have a formidable navy force now! yay!
