the Focke-Wulf F 19 Ente was prototype reverse canard type aircraft developed in the late 1920s. it was a high wing monoplane with a canard layout and tricycle landing gear designed to be stall proof with the front wings stalling before the rear wings. the aircraft was powered by two Siemens Sh 14 engines in nacelles while the pilot sits in an open cockpit. its first flight was on september 2 1927, but was destroyed in september 29 during an aerial demonstration, killing Georg Wulf, Co-Founder, in the process.
