A fictional background
As a racing aircraft crafted purely by hand in the hangar, it was abandoned before it was completed due to consuming too many funds and causing a huge deficit in the club that made it. But an engineer and pilot involved in the manufacturing believed that the aircraft had a good foundation and high potential, and purchased it and its team for one pound,completing and improved the aircraft. The aircraft participated in the 2009 Reno Air Races and defeated its archrivals to win the unlimited class championship. Later it was collected into a Museum of Flight.
