LAC- HX2 Tiltmill

9,962 QuesoAirlines  9.0 years ago

This version of the HX2 now has a tilting rotor that is used for high speed flight and landing stability. When the rotor is at +15 degrees or the forward position, it is used for high speed flight and takeoff, this allows it to get to speeds upwards of +475 kph. When the rotor is at -15 degrees or the backwards position it slows the craft down to landing speeds and allows the nose to be lowered without gaining much too speed.

Action groups

1: Turns the main rotor on
2: Turns on the pusher propeller
3: Activates the airbrakes by pitching up
4: Detaches fuel tanks
