??-2000(LD-2000)is a new short-range air defense weapon system of the PLA.
LD-2000 made its public debut at the 7th Abu Dhabi International Defense Exhibition in the UAE in February 2005.

The system uses an 8 × 8 off-road truck as the chassis, and a remote control rotating turret with 7 tubes of 30mm anti-aircraft gun is installed at the back of the truck. The gun is equipped with two cartridges, each equipped with 500 shelled armour-piercing rounds and 500 high-explosive rounds.A wide-band tracking radar and a day / night aiming system are installed above the gun, which is equipped with a laser rangefinder. The artillery has a firing speed of 4000 rounds per minute and a maximum range of 3000 meters, but the target destruction distance is generally between 1000 and 1500 meters.
LD-2000 short-range air defense weapon system is mainly used for the defense of strategic targets such as airports, command posts, and logistics centers. As part of China's multi-tier air defense system, it can not only destroy cruise missiles, air-to-surface missiles, helicopters and other small targets attacked from the air at close range, but also wipe out exposed living targets and enemy firepower points.
