In the 1980's there was a realization of a need for a long range, dual-role (primarily air to ground strikes), supersonic, and reliable aircraft. The strike jet would use the F-15D as a platform. The product: the F-15E Strike Eagle. The Strike Eagle would excel in every way. After numerous test, the first F-15E would be delivered to the USAF in 1988, and it would provide attacks primarily in the middle east. @Thewannabepilot most USAF aircraft also have tail hooks. The F-22, F-35A, and F-16 have tail hooks.

@CoolAiman66 the real one is not. But it can kill a SU-30. If you use the VTOL slider while pitching up, it will turn off the g force limiter.
