If you are looking for a way to easily destroy the ice base, here it is. You simply fly a plane-it still works if they shoot you down-and a custom location under the platform in the river. You simply aim-VTol & Trim-and fire at the bottom edge roughly near the missile launchers. They should explode and when they do use the throttle to fly up & maneuver using the gyroscope- roll & pitch-to fly into the runway-and BAM! you have unlocked the ICE Base.
