A heavily-modified variant of the Aegis-Class Destroyer, the Matador-Class is specifically designed to transport supplies between various military installations of the Continuum Defense Force. The original ship has had its hangars removed and replaced with massive external cargo holds, while its rear ordnance launcher systems have been gutted for additional internal storage. Its hull armor and shields have also been upgraded for additional defense should it come under attack. Although not as heavily-armed as its more combat-oriented counterparts, the Matador-Class still packs a decent punch with its singular anti-fighter and twin anti-ship plasma batteries.
