KSS Eisenbucht is an amphibious assault ship of the Royal Sovereign Navy and the lead ship of her class. She was named after the Bay of Eisenbucht in the State of Crystal. She was originally built for the Royal Crystalian Navy and served for 25 years before transferring to the new Royal Sovereign Navy.

Although with the unusual thin design, Eisenbucht served with no problems which were expected by the workers who construct her.

She was scheduled to be replaced by Vorhut in 2085, but change of plans led to them serving alongside each other.

Development

In 2049, New warship design was demanded by the Admiralty to replace amphibious assault ships in their arsenal. They originally planned to replace the Königlicher Hafen class with the new Sudwart class, but alternation in plans led to the class to complement newly built aircraft carriers instead. Only in 2076 that the Admiralty acquire a new blueprint for their new amphibious assault ships. With the project approved, construction commenced in 2065. Eisenbucht was launched in 2067 and was completed early in 2063. She was commissioned in February 14 2063.
