The Abir AB-51 is a fictional turboprop-powered light counter-insurgency aircraft created by West German aerospace manufacturer Abir Aerospace GmbH from 1979 until 1984 due to its poor sales. it was licensed based on the North American P-51 Mustang with further modifications for high capacity payloads and the piston engine replaced with a turboshaft engine by Honeywell.
