FB-22 Pillager (VR Form)

1,783 BlackZero  2.9 years ago

This is another VR version of a previous build I made long ago, the FB-22 Pillager.

Description:

The FB-22 is a Fighter/Bomber designed for both air superiority as well as eliminating armored and fortified targets. It was based on a small experimental glider that could, theoretically, fit multiple passengers, but the project took a different turn and eventually transformed into a deadlier and more complex aircraft. While having achieving only relatively low speeds for a jet aircraft, it makes up for it in maneuverability and ordnance variation. It's armament consists of a Gatlin style machine gun, a pair of 150mm cannons, air-to-air fire-and-forget missiles, cruise missiles and short range AGMs. Despite a low top speed, it is capable dogfighting once dispensing its main armament as well as providing close air support.

Instructions:

The trigger on the joystick fires the canard mounted machine guns, button 1 engage whichever main weapon selected, and button 2 switches to the next weapon.

The throttle's trigger cycles the targeting mode between air-to-air and air-to-ground, while button 1 switches the target to a different one, and button 2 launches the countermeasures.

The switches and button have labels corresponding to what their uses are and the gauges are self explanatory and provide all the info you need. Also both labels and gauges glow in the dark so night time flying is possible.
