7.2 years ago
The F10F was a short-lived mixed propulsion fighter devised by Grumman in 1948 to fully replace the older piston-engined holdovers from World War Two. Ultimately, the F10F entered service a year after the full-jet FH Phantom, making it effectively obselete upon arrival. The Jaguar lived on for a few more years after its withdrawl from fighter service in 1955, as a scout and light attack platform.
