Thank you all for bringing me to gold!

Born to speed, this aircraft was built around it’s engine to be the smallest thing possible to use that said engine. It incorporated a gear retraction system that was being used in US Navy fighters at the time and had lots of power. It however came with the cost of low maneuverability and terrible low speed control, earning an unwanted reputation as a killer.

As a celebration of reaching gold, I made this diminutive plane. It’s a small air racer that I based off of a much earlier design I made more than a year ago I called the Yellowjacket. Though I never posted the Yellowjacket, I just made a reprise of it. This plane flies not much like it, but it can be naturally spawned just like the original due to it’s low part count. Also, this may hint at something coming up ;)

Tips: Try to keep your landing speed high to avoid a crash. The plane is easy to stall out at speeds below 190kmh (or about 120mph). Oh yeah, I also highly recommend you fly this with a mobile device/joystick due to it's previously mentioned low speed characteristics. If you are flying with a keyboard... godspeed.
