Disclaimer: Everything in the History is purely fictional and is not based on any real tank (I searched first but there is no real object 131)
Intro:
The Great Patriotic war has ended and a new enemy is on the horizon, once allies now enemies the west is now the newest threat to the growing union. This threat caused the great engineers of the Soviet Union to design a new heavy tank to replace the soon obsolete IS-2, the new hull and turret designs lead to the development of the legendary IS-7. This tank is the stepping stone for the supposed to be revolutionary heavy tank design of the Union, the IS-7 which was labeled obsolete as the Union's design doctrine shifted towards what the MBTs would be, presenting the Object - 131.
History:
In 1944 soviet tank designers designed a heavy tank which was supposed to replace the IS-2 but as the war is still ongoing the budget is the thing that restricts them the most, the development of the Object - 131 ended up only as a design in paper in 1944 and the other earlier heavy tank designs such as the IS-3 were prioritized due to their development started earlier.
1945: As the war ended and the Union is starting to get back on its feet and restoring its economy the development of the Object - 131 has been finally approved and began. In this year the hull and turret has been finished and is only lacking the armaments, electronics, and other miscellaneous features.
1946: With new anti tank technologies emerging in the west the effectiveness of the heavy tank doctrine is now being questioned and is now being reconsidered to be ended in favor of newer design doctrines that would lead to the development of the MBTs. As of this year the armaments and other needed technologies has been installed and the Object - 131 is now being put into trial to see whether it would live up to the expectations of the Union.
1947: The heavy tank designs has grown more obsolete and the end of the line for this type of tanks is near, what could this mean for the Object - 131? This year the Object - 131 has been finished and is now fully operational, despite such positive results the Object - 131 only has 28 units ever produced due to the Unions new restrictions on the production of heavy tanks. Just like its soon to come brother (IS-7) only a few were built and were not used extensively as heavy tanks grew obsolete.

@ComradeComissar ok so you want another entry which will be your final... which you want to be rated... not this...
@TarikArkswagen I'm actually working on an even better interior, still in the works but it's only the ammo placement left so should be done soon. I don't want it to be a successor of the post because I don't want it to be rated as well, don't really want to kinda exploit this one tank.
Our tank... good interior...
@ComradeComissar 1st semester for me, I'd say its not too bad, although there are tons of homework, most of it is effortless
SOVIET POWER SUPREME
@SimplePotato I've done it and as you've requested I'm tagging you
@IFVuser it took me some time, I have very short free times cuz it's still the 2nd semester and it's quite a pain to study.
whoa... :0
it even has interior !
