Initially intended as another variation of the F-5E, the F-5C was almost a complete redo of the fighter, leaving a few similarities here and there. It is a particularly light fighter jet. Made and designed by Northrop Grumman in 1973, and introduced to service in 1974, as the Vietnam War was coming to a bloody end.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This should pop up as a successor for the AREA88 CHALLENGE. I don’t know why it is not.
