The T-34-85M1 mod.1972 (Russian: T-34-85M1 obraztsa 1972 g.) was a Soviet modernization of a T-34-85 by integrating the 85mm ZiS-S-53M-1 which had a fume extractor. This T-34 variant is capable of firing the APFSDS and HEATFS shells, the T-34-85M1 had a good combat capability, the modernization was cost effective to most nations who don't have access to the latest Soviet tanks like the T-72, T-62, and T-54/55 tank.
