HISTORY
In 1938 a new world war is about to begin. A massive political mistrust ensued, resulting in a escalation. The Karyan union, Bismarck empire, and it's allies declared war on the fabellan, odressia and it's allies. Initially the Greglandians were neutral in the opening stages, but after the teribble defeat of the SPR and Keikovans armies in the south east Asian region in 1940, and the Karyan army March towards the northern Greglandian Commonwealth islands in 1941. It became clear that Australia... I MEAN mainland greglandia is under threat.
At this time the Greglandians were short on combat capable tanks. And so the development of a sub-tank destroyer heavy tank program was ramped up. Actually the program starts days after the initial outbreak of the war. But this was hampered by budget constraints, but as the situation became desperate they need one fast shall the karyans ever came
Because of the Greglandian geography. The new tank was specially design for flat terrain combat, and dessert operations. Very suitable for the rough desserts that dominate most of mainland greglandia. Because of this, it was primarily used for home defense rather than overseas operations, although some of them were deployed to the flat terrain of java. Where they most suited for
The design is also unique. The tank engine is at the front rather than the back of most conventional tanks, this allows for more ammunition capacity since the back were mostly empty space. BUT that doesn't mean it was perfect. Because of the rushed development the first few tank was very underpowered, and had malfunctioning radios. In addition to that the driver and co-driver couldn't get out the back of the tank in case of the front hatch jammed, because the engine was in the way.
Because most of them saw little to no combat. The goverment decided to turn many of them into AA missile platforms after the war. Only 1 example of this tank still remains
