Auto Credit Based on Planecrafter's Five star challenge free
[For Planecrafters five star Challenge] The Douglas F6D Misileer was a proposed carrier-based fleet defence fighter aircraft, designed by Douglas Aircraft Company in responce to a 1959 US Navy requirment. It was designed to be able to loiter for extended periods at relativly long distance from the Navy's aircraft carriers, engaging hostile aircraft 100mi (161km) away with its powerful radar and long-range missiles. Since the enemy would be fired on long before visial range, the aircraft had little dogfighting capability and was stricly subsonic. Its only armament was 6x AAM-N-10 Eagle air-to-air missiles. hope yall enjoy! Detachers1,2,3= Missiles
