The M.F.R. (M.F.R. stands for Mobile-Friendly Racer) is a fictional race car designed and built by the user @calli3 in the video game SimplePlanes.


Controls


  • Brake: Stop/slow down
  • Pitch: Drive/reverse
  • Yaw: Turn left/right
  • Activation Group #1: Lights
  • Activation Group #2: Left signal lights
  • Activation Group #3: Right signal lights
  • Activation Group #4: Hazard lights
  • Activation Group #8: Engine

Tutorial

Do you want to build the M.F.R.? Building the M.F.R. is easy. It has 24 parts and it takes 5-15 minutes to complete it.

1. Body


Car

You will need:
  • x2 Cockpit block
  • x1 Glass fuselage
  • x2 Fuselage block

Step 1:
Car
Place 2 cockpits and a glass fuselage to make the roof of the car that is shaped like this.

Step 2:
Car
Place 2 fuselage blocks to make the car body and shape it like a pinewood derby car or a low-resolution hot rod.


2. Chassis


Car

You will need:
  • x1 Engine
  • x1 Fuel tank
  • x4 Suspension
  • x4 Wheel

Step 1:
Car
Place a car engine in the car body.

Step 2:
Car
Place a fuel tank below the car body.

Step 3:
Car
Place a shock on the car body, then place a wheel on the shock to make a wheel with suspension and place 2 wheels with suspension on each side.


3. Design


Car

You will need:
  • x8 Formation light (Optional)
  • x1 Label (Optional)

Step 1:
Car
Place 4 formation lights on the front of the car and 4 on the rear of the car.

Step 2:
Car
Place a label on the hood of the car and type any number you want.

Step 3:
Car
Make sure that the color palette looks like this.

  • Blue: Primary color
  • Black 1: Secondary color
  • Gray: Rim color
  • White 1: Text color
  • Amber: Indicator color
  • Black 2: Hole color
  • Black 3: Tire color
  • Black 4: Window color
  • Red: Taillight color
  • White 2: Headlight color

4. Funky Trees


Car

You will need:
  • Funky Trees

Step 1:
Make the drag scale 0 on all parts.

Step 2:
Make the engine power 100 and set the min 0.0625 and the max 0.125.

Step 3:
Make the steering angle 20° and the brake torque 2 on the front wheels.

Step 4:
Make the max angular velocity 232 and the brake torque 1 on the rear wheels and make them powered.

Step 5:
Make the spring strength 250 and the damper 250 on all 4 shocks.


And you're done!
