Whilst the Great SP War was raging, some other things ere happening as well. The Neutral nations, such as Reno, were entertaining them selves in other ways. In Nova, they decided to have a crack at the Land Speed Record, currently 299mph held by the Autosports Speedster. On it’s first attempt, the suspension broke at 235, nearly killing the driver. He got it under control, though, and eventualy a successful run was made, topping out at 318mph. They had the record!
