The Demolisher Class was a failed prototype between M.Corp and AMC, regarding putting their Inferno-1 lazer weapon onto an oceangoing ship. The Class failed because the ship just couldn’t handle the unit. Then somebody decided to give it another crack, and this time it was sucessful.Credit to @EternalDarkness and @Astleyindustries
