Piston Powered Cargo Plane
Off the line of my crappy looking non-modded piston powered planes, I introduce the Cargo Version! This is capable of bring payloads to different areas using no fuel whatsoever. It’s engine based off of that used on my original piston powered plane, but is is upgraded to be able to withstnad far greater propellers.
How to Fly-
1: You start by putting your VTOL Stick to the top quarter of the bar. If it is not in the top quarter, then there is a good chance that the engine will have problems when turned on. Make sure that it isn’t at the bottom portion of the top quarter area, as that may cause trouble aswell. I would recommend VTOL Stick either at the very top of the bar (least thrust) or in the middle of the top quarter of the bar (More thrust). Keep in mind that action group 8 MUST be activated while flying, as it activates throttle and pitch for the propeller.
2: Put Throttle to 100%. Do this as swiftly as possible, if you spool engine slowly then there may be problems with the engines at startup.
3: Wait until you are at about 90 mph and takeoff :)
4: To load/unload cargo, simply deactivate the action group 8 (engines), put the VTOL Stick to the very top, and activate activate action Group 1. It may look silly, but it was the only solution I could find for this situation.
Controls-
Throttle/Yaw/Pitch/Roll/Trim are all controlled as they would in a conventional plane.
VTOL: Open/Close door and raise/lower plane when action group 1 is activated. Controls pitch on propellers when action group 8 is activated
Action Group 1: Activate Cargo doors and landing leg controls
Action Group 8: Activate propeller pitch and engine controls
WARNING- I’m sorry, but this Plane has a condition in which whenever you turn off an engine and turn it back on, it can sometimes reverse the engines. If this happens in a way where you are going backwards, simply put the VTOL Stick on the other opposite side of the bar. If the pitch screws up to where it starts spinning whenever you turn them on, I have no known fix of that and you will have to restart. Again, I’m sorry. If I find a fix I will reupholstered this plane.
P.S. Make sure you’re in the “high” physics setting
P.P.S. Sorry again for the huge description haha
P.P.P.S I am still working on a Quadcopter for this. It works well, I just am having trouble with controlling it. What do you guys think about me putting a gyroscope on it? I am kinda against gyro VTOLs, but I cannot seem to find any other way. Btw I am also working on a version of the engine that can work in the “low” physics mode for those who cannot run high physics.

Haha yeah @ViridiCinis
Awsome. Perfect for the “Going the distance” challenge.
@IzzyIA Np!
Thanks! @sexylips35
Nice!
Haha thanks @MrTyTheGreat
@IzzyIA I thank you!
I might add, yours is awesome as well.
Thanks, btw nice profile pic @MrTyTheGreat
I tried making me one of these... Failed, but you did it, so good job!
Lol thanks@DanialADH
GOOOD
Thanks, and it is just a thing I don’t like to do. I kinda feels like cheating because gyros are really unrealistic in this game. But yeah idk I may be forced to use one on my next quad. I have a forum I just started on my profile talking about it :) @Rodrigo110
Nice, but I think it’s very illogical to not have a gyroscope on a VTOL, why would you not want to have it?
Haha thanks guys @WIZARD2017 @Aceheliflyer
That machine works really cool. I like that more than the long journey. :)
Pretty fun to mess around with.
Thanks, I made it so that people could go long distances or joyrides for a while without having worry about fuel :) @WIZARD2017
I like this kind of no fuel vehicle
