History: Aluminum Corps. was founded in 1934 by an unknown person. The first 14 aircraft they created were all fighters that failed, so they decided to try their hands at a bomber. They created the ALC-15 Nightshrike, The bomber had a crew of 9, which was huge for an aircraft of its size. Two of the crew members sat on either side of the nose, right next to the propellers. They were the bombardiers, and they (along with the belly gunner) were automatically given purple hearts. The only two ways out of the aircraft (safely. Many crews broke the glass in the nose and jumped out that way) were either through a small door in the top of the cockpit or through a door underneath the cockpit in the floor, which was also where the fuel tanks were stored. Many crews never made it back to base (for obvious reasons). Only around 1,000 of the ALC-15s were made. Aluminum Corps. went out of business in 1940.
