Designed during the Reagan Admistration as the "STARWARS" plane as a member of his STARWARS weapons, which can shoot down Soviet ICBMs before they reach the US. With Rockets the place could fly at the L.E.O Altitudes (+4,000,000ft) without rocket assist the plane can reach 200,000ft and 4800MPH on a 30 degree nose dive. Max level flight speed is 3608MPH. Carrying x6 AIM-53 Missiles giving it the ability to shoot down 6 ICBMs. This model shows the early version featuring x3 Gattling guns, which later were removed for the fact the plane could in theory shoot itself down. One test pilot proved this when he landed the plane claiming he lost his left aileron, which is featured in this model (so yes the plane will tend to roll to the right). The program ended in 1987 when on test flight 97 the plane crashed into the ocean. Altopsy showed that the pilot was cooked alive from hypersonic flight because his cooling systems failed.
