About PlainFly…

PlainFly CO. (Revalandic: Plainflyht Coperatia) is the flag carrier, largest and oldest airline of the country of Revaland. The airline was originally founded in 1949 to transport people around the country, but it quickly expanded with the turn of the jet age. The airline works on a hub-and-spoke network, with very few freedom flights. The airline flies to 87 destinations across 4 continents. It has employed up to 5,000 people in a 2023 census.

The airline is based in the suburb Miraworth, located in the capital city of Fainsworth, and had its 2 main hubs at Fainsworth International Airport (FWO/RVAA) & Hajalibka-South Beach International Airport (HJS/RVHJ). They are the largest airlines that have a base at both of these airports.

The airline underwent many changes in 2010, retiring some of its older aircraft, a new redesign, removing obsolete destinations, and had added another huh to its destinations. They wanted to shut down their old PlainFly Connect in 2010, but ended up bringing it back in 2016 as PlainFlyLink. The aircefat’s alliance membership with Oneworld had ended in August of 2011 as a part of restructuring. PlainFlyLink is one of few airlines in the PlainFly group. The other airlines being ChargeAir, and ThrillExpress, which used to be the largest Charter airline in the country.

About the Airbus A320neo (Family)…

The Airbus A320neo family is an incremental development of the A320 family of narrow-body airliners produced by Airbus. The A320neo family (neo being Greek for "new", as well as an acronym for "new engine option") is based on the enhanced variant of the previous generation A319, A320, and A321, which was then retrospectively renamed the A320ceo family (ceo being an acronym for "current engine option").

Re-engined with CFM International LEAP or Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines and fitted with sharklets wingtip devices as standard, the A320neo is 15% to 20% more fuel efficient than prior models, the A320ceo. It was launched on 1 December 2010, made its first flight on 25 September 2014 and was introduced by Lufthansa on 25 January 2016.

By 2019, the A320neo had a 60% market share against the competing Boeing 737 MAX. As of October 2024, a total of 10,888 A320neo family aircraft had been ordered by more than 130 customers, of which 3,607 aircraft had been delivered. The global A320neo fleet had completed more than 7.35 million flights over 14.67 million block hours with one hull loss being an airport-safety related accident.
