Developed during the same pre-war period that led to the Hurricane and Spitfire, the Tornado was developed by RJ Ltd as a front line fighter, powered by the same RR Merlin powerplant as its competitors. It featured 8 20mm Cannon as standard which meant that it packed a significant punch leading to its success against German Bombers. Utilising lightweight mixed wood and metal construction it was a light aircraft which had excellant manoeverability. VTOL down for flaps

@Spikerya id never even heard of that plane... cant say that for many aircraft =) dont think ill be building one anytime soon though, thanks for the comment.
@RamboJutter VB 10-02 idea? Like next?
@Tang0five yeah, I just wanted to do something different, everything of the era seemed to have 8 303s or 4 20mm cannon, later life upgrades added more fire power so I thought why not over arm it to start with? I'm a bit fed up with sp at present so not building much, I thought this was a nice build hence posting.
Nice! I love when you make older style airplanes!
a cool fighter. tho those with such weight would make aileron rolls rather difficult. so id see it as a bomber interceptor unless there is a fighter variant that throws 6 of the cannons for a 2x 20mm cannon 2x 12.7mm MG layout. but overall its cool
@Mustang51 Couldn't agree more!
x4 20mm cannons per wing.....that’s a heavy wing! Good stuff though glad to see your work again!
This is wonderful! It really looks like a late 30s fighter. Also lovely cockpit
