BM-21 Grad
Brief History of The BM-21 "Grad"
The BM-21 "Grad", lit.?'hailstorm' is a self-propelled 122 mm multiple rocket launcher designed in the Soviet Union. The system and the 2B26M3 rocket were first developed in the early 1960s, and saw their first combat use in March 1969 during the Sino-Soviet border conflict. BM stands for boyevaya mashina – combat vehicle), and the nickname grad means "hail". The complete system with the BM-21 launch vehicle and the 2B26M3 rocket is designated as the M-21 field-rocket system. The complete system is more commonly known as a Grad multiple rocket launcher system.

@GrandPrix first of all i took the brief from Wikipedia and the rocket name is made up and is It derived from the name of 2b26 Grad K MLRS (New bm-21 model)
o wait i just researched and they call it the bm21 launch vehicle unlike previous bm katyushas where they named the launcher bm and the model number and the truck would be a generic soviet truck at the time like a zis-5.
do you know the name of the truck itself rather then the rocket launcher because its hard to fond on google.
One day I will make hail out of my Ural ... I hope
Happy Algerian Independence Day
