To move the robot, first wait til it hits the ground, then VTOL slider all the way up. Then wait again and then activate 1. Then throttle and roll to move. DO NOT MOVE VTOL SLIDER DOWN PAST THE MIDDLE. (Also, you can brake and then bring the slider to the middle and it will go into its compact form
