The asymmetrical drag of having an emblem on one side makes takeoff nearly impossible!!!
And yes, a Mustang with a full fuel load was HORRIDLY UNSTABLE. Either wait and burn some fuel, or remove some of the fuel in the rear tank using the Designer.
Yes, it was inevitable that one day, I'd make a Mustang. Fun fact: the P-51D was the official American name, and the "Mustang" moniker came from the Brits. Eventually, the name "Mustang" stuck; this was actually the case with many US aircraft at the time. By the way, it was a really tough choice between this and the F4U, since I already uploaded two today (the Dodo and a Bf 109)... better wait till tomorrow for the Corsair. If you recognize the paintjob, say where it came from... hint: the tail is red.
