Press 1 missile separation, but before taking off, remember to adjust votl nozzle rod to the top

Unclear instructions!!!! 1.) Pull VTOL slider all the way up before take off.... 2.) when at suitable altitude, cut the engines off then retract landing gears after that pull the VTOL slider all the way down..... 3.) start the engines again then press detacher group 1.... 4.) try hitting USS Tiny with this thing!!
