Named after it’s cockpit, the C-10 Compact houses 4 wing mounted machine guns as well as a 96inch prop in combination with a 2000hp radial piston engine. This means that this small fighter can compete with legends such as the P-51 in both speed and manoeuverability. However, the tightness of the cockpit has come with the downside of far more sensitive controls as well as far less sophisticated flight instruments, such as the attitude indicator being replaced with a bank angle indicator and climb rate indicator.
