The CV-54 is a single shot/bolt action rifle, never saw much combat but only in WWI and some Pacific campaigns in WWII. And today, it has earned a new nickname, the ".30-06 Crickett" rifle, why? Because some .22 LRs are cricketts, and this is a crickett basically. The rifle is also seen in shooting competitions. The rifle also has been known for being a very accurate rifle, but with a nice design
