in the 1950s more manuvrable jets were neded so fenterint was called to solve the problem so they proposed to upgun the older models of the 161 and by 1952 it was in full production but instead of being phased out by 1969 it coundued seving until 1978 were the last squadron was disbanded by the way if i miscorectly called it the me 262 is an accident this is not a fictional version of the me 262
