An approach to an odd Mikoyan-Gurevich aircraft. Probably the only canard prop Soviets ever tested, and most likely the only evenly-numbered Mig. Historically, this aircraft was designed and built in early 1945, to test the performance of various flaps and slats on a slow speed, canard arranged, swept-winged platform. Later the aircraft was used as an commuting plane for the MiG OKB. Funny enough, Mikoyan wrote his graduation essay in 1936 on how canard aircrafts are inferior than the traditional ones. ------------------------- The engine on this semi-historical aircraft is pretty weak, so always use 100% throttle and be careful with the pitch.

@SodiumChloride . I am making Utka for another project, but I want to be precise for this one. The biggest problem is the difference between cot and com. CoT is higher and is spoiling flight behaviour. Difficult model to make, congratulations to taotiezi
@Viper3000ad Yeah on the real one I think they have 2 different kinds of landing gears. The small ones didn't perform well so they changed to a larger one with a larger tire. Also, respect for working on the plane for 2 weeks XD, I only give it about 2 hours just eye-scaling the aircraft out.
I am making one almost for 2 weeks , I made a functional interior with passenger compartment. Until now it weights 1450 lbs but stil having problems with the original 110hp engine. Also I believe that the nose wheel is different. Anyway great idea , keep up the good work.
