Auto Credit Based on klm747klm747's AMB2
Automation 3.0.
This aircraft has:
Landing autothrottle
Automatic landing gear
Automatic takeoff rotation
Automatic roll correction
Automatic reversers
Automatic flaps.
Automatic slats.
AUTOLAND
To test the autoland, spawn the aircraft at wright and immediately press 5 and 6. Keep the crosshairs on the centerline of the runway (camera 4) and keep throttle zero. You will need to apply manual braking when the aircraft lands itself.

This aircraft has all controls similar to The Last One. Although, autoland is group 5. Press 6 to slow the aircraft down, then fly level until the crosshairs are on the runway. They press 5 and watch the airplane land itself. It's still experiment, but this took 2 hours to make work.

Group 1, 4 and 2 now do nothing.
@anonymoususer976 @klm747klm747 if the game adds ILS approaches hehe
Try automated ILS approach made in a few hours
Nice!
@anonymoususer976 Hello! That might be possible, but it would take miles of funky trees, all linked to the Game's time function. If the game adds ILS approaches, sure it might be possible.
Would it be possible to make it autonomously take off from one base and land at another.
@SledDriver also, wheel brakes cannot be done with funky trees.
@SledDriver I will post this publicly as soon as I get the autoland to work from more spots. It will have a visual aiming system so you can put the dot on the runway, and then it will fly itself down to that dot. The automatic flaps and slats need a little improvement too, as well as the interior (it might be 4000 parts when done if I can get to a better computer.) Also, the autoland needs to be completed/retweaked after the entire rest of the airplane is done because changes in weight and drag affect the performance of the autoland system. Probably during summer.
OK, I just tried it again and it works well, though the aircraft overshoots the runway after landing. I guess you'd have to spawn further away from the runway to stop that from happening. Nice work. When are you going to post this publicly?
@SledDriver I must have not made it clear enough, sorry. Spawn it at wright and switch on 5 and 6 immediately. Leave throttle at zero. don't make any pitch inputs, only roll to keep it on track.
.
I'll be implementing a visual approach guide system later on. So far it only works well from one spot.
Omg this is so amazing! The dang thing lands itself!!!
Didn't work for me. Spawned at Wright final approach, throttle to 100%, switched on groups 6 and 5, the aircraft overshot the runway by at least a mile. The next time I took it down to 650 feet before enabling 6 and 5, and it almost touched down, but every time it gets close to the ground it drifts back up.
autoland! @CRJ900Pilot

@SledDriver , yes I still like your builds.
