So I beat EternalDarkness to the RG version of his Skycat, but this is his plane. I just added the landing gear. The landing gear retracts like a Cessna 182 RG, so it may look weak, but it is actually very sturdy. JUST DO NOT BRAKE TO HARD, OR THE PLANE MAY FLIP OVER

It’s the Super Sniper V2. Just look at my posts. @JediWolf
@CustomAircraftMods can't find the snipey thingymajiggy u got a link I can copy?
No, I run at highest available. Also, 420 points lol@JediWolf
@CustomAircraftMods lowest settings possible that is ;)
Should be fine, I run it on a 2017 Apple IPad Pro @JediWolf
@CustomAircraftMods I have no idea how old but it's a 5th generation Kindle fire that can run an MC-80 that's over 440 parts (sorta fine)
I dunno, depends on how old your device is. But yes, it should work @JediWolf
@CustomAircraftMods mobile friendly?
The landing gear kept giving me troubles, but you can always check out my Super Sniper V2! @JediWolf
@CustomAircraftMods darn I wanted to see a weaponized GA plane 😭
Yes Rest in Pepperoni @EternalDarkness
@CustomAircraftMods RIP
I’ve decided just to call off the entire project. Here were the issues:
StrikeCat- landing gear troubles
Catfish- could not put in a new engine
Wildcat- never built; cancelled @EternalDarkness
@CustomAircraftMods ok.
Yeah, I hate to be redundant, but this little voice in the back of my head is saying “this is a terrible idea” and then there’s this louder voice saying “SHOW THEM THE BIG GUNS!!!”, so I just need to show off this plane. However, it will be listed underneath my RG version, and not your original Skycat. @EternalDarkness
@CustomAircraftMods it would carry two 12.7mm MGs with ammo, camera pod, and two 50l tanks and would struggle to take off... The most engineous solution I ever saw for a COIN aircraft was adding pylons to a crop duster. They are generally lightweight, can carry more than their own weight, have ridiculous loiter time... Perfect planes for the job. I don't mind you making another successor to my build, but it would be a bit ridiculous.
The purpose of the strike cat version was is to be a light attack aircraft/ close air support/ recon aircraft. It’s not intended to travel fast, as it needs to do recon, and I can easily make the fuel load better via drop tanks. Could I at least do the StrikeCat?@EternalDarkness
@CustomAircraftMods yes, last version would be unnecessary. Also, strike version would be pretty useless. With full fuel load, this plane could carry some 240kg and fly for some four hours under full load. Floats would also limit the useful load and reduce the speed via drag.
Since your plane was such a success, we here at CAM were wondering if we could build some more variations of your M-300I Skycat. Here’s what they will be:
M-300 Strikecat (close air support/ recon version)
M-300 Catfish (float plane)
M-300 Wildcat (rough terrain landing version)
The last one may be unnecessary, especially since your original version seems to already have it down. Just wondering if I could do this. If not, I totally understand. @EternalDarkness
Thanks! @EternalDarkness
@CustomAircraftMods it's good. I wouldn't have invested more effort into it myself.
So, what do you think of the plane modifications? (Other than the front gear)@EternalDarkness
@EternalDarkness lol
Thanks @ChiChiWerx
Yeah the front gear is a little too responsive, but other than that, I think this turned out much better than I thought it would@EternalDarkness
