[Simple] XFA-24 Apalis
Apalis Jumpscare
Description
The XFA-24 Apalis is an experimental multirole combat aircraft developed in the 2010s by an unidentified manufacturer. Designed following the Circum-Pacific War, it adheres to a philosophy that an aircraft should not be limited to a specific battlefield but instead be adaptable to all combat scenarios. Consequently, the aircraft is equipped for operations in various environments and utilizes conventional and commercial parts widely available on the international market to ensure full operational capability despite parts shortages. The aircraft draws inspiration from the Rafale, featuring a canard delta wing configuration. Its fuselage boasts a large curved radius shape to minimize its radar cross-section (RCS). Equipped with two gondola-mounted engines and paddle-type thrust vectoring, it achieves a high degree of maneuverability and speed, on par with most modern in-service fighter jets. The aircraft can be armed with various weapon systems regardless of the weapon's nationality, such as the AiM-9, R-73, AAM-3, ASRAAM, AiM-120, AGM-65, and many types of unguided bombs and rockets, carrying it in four under-fuselage hardpoints and two wing mounted hardpoints, in addition, it also carries an internal 30mm GSh-30-1 autocannon for close range engagements. The aircraft saw service mainly with the Aurelian Air Force during the Aurelian War, used during the counteroffensive by aces Falco One and Gryphus One, with one notable achievement being the downing of a Gleipnir Airship over Santa Elva by an Apalis flown by Gryphus One.
In this SimplePlanes version, well first I've gotta be honest this post is rather an unprompted one, I was just finished uploading the MiG-17 and 21 then spontaneously got the motivation to 'finish' this aircraft as it had been sitting dormantly since nearly three weeks ago, so I decided to do some finishing touches such as adding weaponry and the 'barebones' cockpit like my four previous planes as well as the roundel, then I took some screenshots, edited it, and uploaded this within hours after uploading the previous planes. But anyway this plane features a shape that closely resembles the actual XFA-24, albeit without its playpus-like nose, with stock wings for its control surfaces for the sake of simplicity. It also features thrust vectoring and FBW in order to give it supermanueverability, with a "turn off" feature in its FBW to prevent oscillation at supersonic speeds. The plane also sports an accurate paint scheme similar to the in-game counterpart. Though my complaints with this aircraft is that it still oscillates especially at high speed turning, the takeoff speed is really high (350km/h / 217mph), and the stall characteristics is a bit bad (it will pitch up instead of pitch down when stalling) making it difficult in landings if the pilot's not careful, the weapons are also unlike Ace Combat cause you've only got 6 of them instead of like 60, but I think that's down to preference. Lastly I want to say thanks to Homemade1 and his Apalis build for giving me the inspiration to build this to begin with. Happy flying!

My Beloved hell yeah, might do a complete cockpit for this later hehe
This aircraft singlehandedly carried me through Ace combat X: literally bought it the moment it was unlocked and never had to buy another plane
