@Waffloe lol good idea but it actually stands for model. They give the same M designation to all different types of weaponry and ground vehicles, but they start the number again every time it’s a new category of equipment. That’s why I can think of 8 different things called M1 and there are probably even more hahaha
@Mustang51 perhaps the the M just stands for "Murica!" Ya know they are very proud of their country, so why not have it in all of their designations?
@Waffloe yeah it’s just the name designation used in the UK. In the US the just put M in front of everything so it’s always confusing hahaha

@Waffloe APC is armoured personal carrier and AFV is armoured fighting vehicle. I think only us brits use the AFV term but an APC is an AFV
