Himmel BF-500 HILLCLIMB EDITION
I noticed a new vehicle by @Artutu and it turned out to be one of the best handling cars/trucks I have ever driven.Ever since then I’ve been working on turning it in to a sporty hillclimb pickup truck. After a few weeks of careful development it is FINALLY READY TO BE RELEASED.
To open the hood/bonnet toggle activation group 1 and then yaw 100% to the left then click the group 1 to lock it in place.
List of modifications:
1. Lowered the whole body a few inches onto the frame.
ENGINE SWAP > > > It’s a V8 engine that I'm pretty sure came from one of @MVC builds.
Installed a GIANT TURBO to that engine and spent WAY too long fitting all sorts of pipes and exhaust manifolds.
Built a massive rear wing that does actually create lots of downforce similar to custom hill-climb vehicles you see racing up rough mountain roads.
After the large weight change and the distribution of that weight i attempted to retune the suspension. I started at the front and managed to get a pretty solid tune for the independent front setup.
Then it was time for the rear suspension. I found a pretty good tune for straight line handling but when it came to steering the whole rear axel would twist snapping the driveshaft and then slide out from underneath the vehicle causing catastrophic failure. It was then when i decided it was time to scrap the idea of tuning the leaf spring and just go with something different. I kept some of the rear suspension then converted it to a swing arm style setup which worked great but i decided to fit an anti-roll bar for the rear to keep it from rolling too much. This, after lots of tuning, now works perfectly.
I then went on to the appearance and replaced the drivers seat with a nice bucket seat.
Enjoy!!!!!!!

@LeoLabs thank you!
@MVC You make some real good engines
Yeah this is my engine
@Artutu To be completely honest your truck is the best handling land vehicle I’ve ever driven in this game. Nice work.
I dare you to put Formula350's Supercharged V8 into Realsavagemans Mini cooper
Ah I see you are alive again
I like, but the only thing is that you can see the frame in the interior and the rear axle is too soft and so cool
