As the U-2 gradually became outdated due to better air defence, a smaller, unmanned aircraft would be developed to collect data on the enemy. After alot of trial-and-error runs, the U-3A was developed. The U-3A had a 557hp engine in a push prop configuration, like on the MQ-1. It could be armed with the AG-3R Air to Ground Missle. (ATGM) It would have full 360° coverage, and a maximum range of 3.5 Miles. Due to its incredibly small shape and lightweight construction, the U-3A could reach 430mph. It also comes with flares to counter enemy air defence.
It is also incredibly cheap to produce, considering its made out of aluminum, and it's total price is $30,000 (excluding missles).
