Light Car Company Rocket
An easily forgotten creation of Gordon Murray. This car is the British school of racing design taken to an extreme. Weighs only 389kg or 850lb, with 146hp or 169hp (Depending on trim) from a Yamaha engine, this car can do 0-60mph (or 0-100km/h) in 5.5s or 4.7s and tops out at 150mph. This version in simpleplanes attempts to mimic the true performance of the real car with 169hp trim when a 75kg man is sitting in it (A lighter female driver can probably make it faster). Its handling is very finicky as its weight is so low. Pushing it over the limit may result in a spin that is difficult to recover.
Controls:
Trim & Pitch: Throttle
Roll: Steer
AG1 Main Light
AG2 Left Turn Signal
AG3 Right Turn Signal
Some notes:
1. This car is not tested in VR so some features may break in VR.
2. The rear view mirror will only work when the graphics is high and real time reflection is on.
3. Yes, the car actually has working suspension but it is very stiff just like the real car. Sometimes the suspension will glitch out after collision and needs to be fixed by restarting.
4. This car is capable of racing in Motorsport Championship A class (Street cars) by @MisterT. It lacks power but is very fast in corners. A push from AI in the beginning may help even out the physics advantage.
Special Thanks to @MisterT for his Motorsport Championship map where the screenshots are taken. Link to the map:
