due to the flop of the XH-61, north american had to do something with a 3rd uncommpleted airframe. so the comrads in north american decided to see how well a civilian model of the XH-61 would do. and they made the SY-72. they were a hit in the civilian market due to how well they handel super heavy loads. currently there is 527 models made with more on their way. there are a few mods from the military model. like new rotors, and no wepons. this aircraft has a HE-162 under it. credit goes to souplane for the HE-162.
