Its turn rates were much less than other fighters of the time like the bf-109 but its roll rate was on par with lighter aircraft. In 1944 the introduction of the curtiss paddle prop greatly increase its climb rate. The P-47 came in two designe the bubble canopy and razor back the one I made had a bubble canopy. It saw service through the Korean war and the past P-47 was retired in 1966 by the Peruvian air force.
