M300 Search / Acquisition Radar
A collaboration between me and Quec.
This is the second in the series of the M100 Heavy Multi-purpose Mobility Truck (or the HEMETT in Sosevean service)
Backstory
Designed in 1980 as a joint project between the Aurusea and Sosevea, the HMMT or HEMETT is a 9 tonne 8x8 heavy truck, capable of pulling a payload of 10 tonnes. A total of 10,000 has been built for the Aurusean military.
In Aurusean service, the HMMT has an Orion O600 Diesel engine producing up to 600 hp. It has a range of 500km loaded, and a maximum speed of 100km/h
The M100/M300 Search / Acquisition Radar is a multi-function AESA trailer-mounted search radar with digital beam steering for use with the Warden theatre defence missile system and subsequently the Standard Missile family. It can track up to 150 unique targets with a maximum range of 400km. There is usually 1 M100/M300 Search / Acquisition Radar to an Aurusean Air Defence Battery.
