As the legend of Biff Anderson grew so did the fire in his ice cold veins. He knew the jet age was upon him as the old prop planes were retired from service and he could not escape progress. He went back to the drawing board and pulled out his color crayons. After 15-20 seconds of deep contemplation he knew that a jet engine for his old girl was in its future. It was December 19th, 1966 the first time he fired up the BBQ as he liked to call it. He pulled back on the stick and let her rip down the runway. He let go for a moment and nearly crashed so he kept the pressure on it. After getting airborne and then flame roasting a couple of his farmer neighbors sheep on some low test passes through the field, he knew the old girl was ready. Biff "aces" Anderson was heavy on the throttle but jet fuel was expensive and his wallet was light. He ran out of fuel after his 4th test flight. He just glided the Boomerang back to the barn. But not before skipping off the nearby pond. It was a good thing he added some foam to keep himself ontop of the water. That landing rang his bell pretty good, so after his daze wore off that was the new name for the plane that stuck.
