Actually, since you can mod guns ...
why not just make a gun that shoot insanely wide bullets directly upward (with, say, a bullet shell life of 0.1s)?

There could be better ways for rotating it (e.g. mod the input of rotator to "fireguns"), but man this is ... this is spectacular
I doubt I will call it "radar", though. it's more of a rotating blade of death
