MV Venus
History
The MV Venus is a large ropax ferry owned by Ocean Network Line and served the Manila-Coron-Puerto Princesa-Iloilo-Cebu and vice versa.
She was the former Ferry Kagoshima of Kirisame Lines and was built in 1989 and served Kitakyushu to Osaka.
She was brought by Ocean Network Line in 2012 together with its fleetmate the M/V Ferry Tosa(Future New Atlantica).She was retrofitted in the Ouano Wharf with a new stern roro ramp and passenger gangway.
In 2016 when underway to Puerto Princesa,Palawan she ran-aground nearthe Dumuran islands she was then successfully pulled out and repaired in Batangas and is still active up until today.
